Hey check out that awesome Electra Townie! Oh, and, you might also recognize the charming Gabrielle Anwar from the USA Network series Burn Notice. Gabrielle stars as Fiona on the show and we’re thinking maybe she’s gearing up to ride her Townie in an action-packed scene! We can dream.
Thanks to Mack Cycle in Miami, Florida for the great photo!
Way to Roll Gabrielle!

It’s pretty clear that Electra is passionate about encouraging and supporting the ongoing growth and enjoyment of everyday cycling. And our products speak for themselves in demonstrating our commitment to making unique bicycles that speak to a lady’s sense of style and fashion. So, we made sure to be upfront and center at the first ever Women’s Cycling Forum that took place during the National Bike Summit in Washington, D.C. last week. It was an exciting and lively discussion in a packed room!
While 2 hours wasn’t enough time to cover all the exciting advancements that are happening in women’s cycling, the impressive line up of speakers and hundreds of advocates, championed us to keep the conversation going! We encourage you to keep sharing your experiences and thoughts with us on facebook and this blog.
Another key takeaway and the focus of the National Bike Summit was that we have the power to keep affecting change if we continue to speak out and share our thoughts and wishes with our elected officials. So join in and help preserve funding for cycling programs and infrastructure. An easy first step is to contact your local bike advocacy group.
Way to Roll! Electra Style.
